Homeless boy survives flight in aircraft landing gear well

A homeless boy has survived a flight in the landing gear well of an aircraft belonging to a Chinese airline despite the freezing temperatures.
The 14-year-old was discovered after the aircraft landed in Chongqing in southwest China after flying 700km from Kunming. The passenger aircraft reached an altitude 23,000ft during the flight.
A spokesperson for the airport said that the boy was found by airport porters. A friend of the boy's is thought to have died after falling from the aircraft, reports Reuters.
