Delta Air Lines further relaxes policy on non-refundable tickets

Airline Industry Information,  August 29, 2003

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Delta Air Lines is further relaxing its policy on non-refundable tickets, to provide customers with more flexibility.

The new policy - which includes international tickets - no longer requires customers to change their plans before their original scheduled departure. Those customers holding non-refundable tickets that allow changes will retain the value of their ticket even if they do not cancel their reservation prior to the scheduled departure time of their original flight.

The policy applies to non-refundable tickets that were purchased for travel scheduled on or after 21 August 2003.
