Delta Air Lines announces new baggage policy for Latin America

Delta Air Lines has announced its baggage policy for selected Latin American cities during the winter season.
The restrictions apply to those passengers travelling from the US to Guadalajara, Mexico; Guatemala City; Mexico City; Panama City, Panama; San Jose, Costa Rica; and San Salvador, El Salvador between 15 November 2002 and 15 January 2003.
Passengers are allowed a maximum of two checked bags (which cannot exceed 70 pounds and 63 linear inches) and one carry-on bag (which cannot exceed 40 pounds and 45 linear inches), and items must be packed in Delta-provided utility or garment boxes which are available for USD10 at ticket counters and curbside check-in stations.
