The city's two main fare integration systems--flee transfer between all urban buses within the city and free transfer between all metro and suburban trains in Greater Silo Paulo--are to be unified providing an unlimited number of transfers between both rail and road modes within a two-hour limit.

* CPTM, the city's suburban rail operator, plans to invest Reais 170.5 million ($US 66 million) to modernise Line F which runs between Bras and Calmon Viana. The plan includes rehabilitation of 149 cars, and upgrades for power substations, overhead power supply, track, signalling, and communications. A yard will be built at Manoel Feio. One of the main aims of the project is to reduce headways from nine minutes to seven minutes.
