People who eat breakfast cereal

Nutrition Health Review,  Spring, 2006

PEOPLE WHO EAT BREAKFAST CEREAL regularly tend to be slimmer than those who skip breakfast. A review of published studies sought to determine whether people who ate breakfast cereal regularly tended to have a lower body mass index and would be less likely to be overweight than those who did not eat breakfast cereal regularly. The review looked only at cereal consumption and found an association between consumption of breakfast cereal and healthy weights. Studies that addressed general breakfast consumption (meats and eggs, dairy products, or "fats and sweets") were excluded from the review.
