Sears may have been the first retailer to sell prefabricated homes, but maybe it's time for another major retailer to jump on the modular home bandwagon. The ease and convenience takes much of the headache out of the home building process. Choose the layout, order it and -- voila! -- a few weeks later flatbed truckers roll up with an almost instant house ready in about six weeks as opposed to six months.
