People often ask me, Dave, where do you get your ideas for your columns? And my response is always that Messrs. Anheuser and Busch give me a lot of inspiration.

That's not say I just get lit and write a column. I did experiment with that in my younger days, but I discovered that most of what you write when you're drunk makes about as much sense as most of what you say when you're drunk. Worse, drink enough and you won't remember what an arse you were the night before; write it down and it's there for you to re-live over and over again. That is, when the spell check can figure ...
