The second festival honoring Mississippi writer Willie Morris will take place May 24-26 in his hometown of Yazoo City. Early registration for the program takes place May 24 at 4:30 p.m. at the Triangle Cultural Center on Main Street, Morris' former elementary school. Later in the evening a fund-raiser will be held featuring a reception and original one-act play based on Morris' recollections of his favorite Yazoo characters and haunts.
