In February Chinese petrochemical and chemical sector remains up trend in production. Among the 106 chemicals counted, 98 kinds gain in output compared with the same period of 2002. But the increased supply does not bring about any negative impact on the climbing prices.

Production increases sharply in February

Crude oil production remains a slight growth of 1.3%, but the rocketed import amount supports oil processing amount jumping by 15.8% to 18.449 million tons nationwide in February. Therefore gasoline, kerosene and diesel have a production growth of 15.5%. 21.5% and 13.0% ...
