Pixel 10 Price Plummets To New Low Of $599

The Pixel 10 has just hit a new all-time low at $599. Right now, that’s a tasty 25% off its usual price of $799 and the best price we’ve seen since launch. For those who are shopping for upgrades, that makes a real flagship-grade Android phone pretty firmly midrange.

The discount is the only one in a lineup of broader markdowns on the rest of the lineup, by which the Pixel 10 Pro falls to $849 and its larger cousin, the Pixel 10 Pro XL, goes for $899. Update: the headline price is for the standard Pixel 10, which undercuts many rival base flagships by hundreds of dollars yet provides equivalent long-term software support and core operational differences.

Why This Price Move Matters for Pixel 10 Buyers

High-end phones typically start at around $900 to $1,200, and they only go down in price near the end of a product cycle. A drop to $599 this soon screams “strategy” at us — this is an opportunity to gain significant market share during a peak buying window, while Google makes good on its promised extended support.

That promise is the linchpin of the value proposition: You’re going to get a Pixel 10 bearing Android 16 that will have seven years’ worth of updates stocking up in its war chest.

For a long time, acceptable OS and security coverage were the territory of just a few phones; now the Pixel 10 matches those (peak!) industry bests, lowering the total cost of ownership for anyone who was planning to keep their phone for the long run.

Specs and features to keep in mind before you buy

Performance-wise, the Pixel 10 is powered by the Tensor G5 and packs 12GB of RAM. Day to day, that combo is designed for fast app switching, on-the-money camera processing, and on-device AI powers without relying overly much on the cloud.

The 6.3-inch Actua OLED display refreshes at 120Hz and achieves up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness, a significant jump for outdoor readability and HDR video. It’s the sort of screen spec you might normally expect from more expensive models.

Photography remains a core pitch. The back triple array combines a 48MP main sensor with a 13MP ultrawide and a 10.8MP telephoto that offers 5x optical zoom. All of this is supported by the newest tools in software, and camera-helper programs using Gemini or otherwise, such as Camera Coach, can help users quickly dial in settings and framing without spending time digging through menus.

Three smartphones, two gray and one blue, with a G logo on the back, are displayed against a professional light gray background with subtle wave patterns.

The battery capacity is listed as 4970 mAh, with fast wired and wireless charging, and the chassis is built from Gorilla Glass Victus 2, with IP68 water- and dust-resistance.

Sustainability is still in the mix, with recycled materials included in the build — another detail that often doesn’t come up at this price.

How it compares at $599 against rival Android phones

Competing at this price, the Pixel 10 competes with phones that usually have to make some kind of a compromise — wireless charging, telephoto zoom, or truly strong water resistance are popular things to throw under the bus in the $500–$600 bracket. Those features are table stakes here, along with a flagship-level display and plenty of runway for updates.

The $599 sale currently on for the Pixel 10 compares favorably with rivals that are priced around the $799 mark, yet still manages to match them in longevity. Google’s seven years of support matches the most generous policies in the Android flagship world and poses a challenge to the de facto expectation set by long-supported devices elsewhere.

For shoppers who want extras like a bigger screen or better telephoto, the Pro and Pro XL deals are solid. But purely on a price-to-performance scale, the regular Pixel 10 is the sweet spot assuming you don’t want to go over four digits to get those Google camera software and AI add-ons.

Buying advice and availability during this promotion

The price — about half of what the phone was at launch last year — will reportedly be a short-term promotional offer through the official store and at big national retailers, with carrier offers that may add on trade-in credits. The most popular colors and base storage options are likely to move fast.

If you’re upgrading from a device that’s three or more generations old, the leap in display brightness, camera reach, and battery efficiency will be instantly apparent. For everyone else, the $599 Pixel 10 offers the best combination of current hardware, top-shelf imaging, and long-term software surety at a level that’s increasingly scarce among flagships.
