How It Works
A simple, transparent pipeline.
1. You search
You enter a query and choose a tab — Academic & Research or News & General. The query is sent as a simple URL parameter; no account, cookies, or tracking pixels are involved.
2. We query sources in parallel
Our server sends your query to six to eight different source APIs simultaneously. This is done server-side using parallel HTTP requests, so results arrive quickly regardless of how slow any single source might be. Frequent queries are briefly cached to keep searches fast and respect our data providers' rate limits.
3. We normalize and deduplicate
Each source returns data in its own format. We map them all to a common structure (title, authors, date, publication, snippet, URL) and remove duplicate URLs. No content is modified, paraphrased, or rewritten — we only combine and display what the APIs return.
4. You click through to the original
Every result link goes directly to the source publisher. Our role ends when you click the link.
