Invisalign treatment happens partly at the dental practice and largely in the intervals between appointments. The clinic assesses and plans the movement; you follow the prescribed wear routine, look after the aligners and attend the reviews that keep the treatment under supervision. Choosing a provider therefore involves more than liking a digital image of straighter teeth.
For adults exploring cosmetic dentistry in London, alignment may be the main change they want or one stage before other dental work. Either way, it helps to understand the whole sequence: assessment, planning, active movement, review and retention. Whitening or adjustments to tooth shape are separate treatments, even when they appear in the same package.
The seven practices below offer Invisalign in London. Each provides a different point to consider when deciding where to arrange a consultation, from the scope of the initial assessment to how the plan connects with later care.
Selecting for the Whole Invisalign Journey
An Invisalign service in London was the entry requirement. The more useful distinctions were what happens around the aligners: assessment, monitoring, retention and any agreed finishing treatment. A digital proposal is only the beginning of that sequence, while retaining the result continues after active movement ends. The recommendations are arranged to explore those responsibilities, from the initial examination through oversight and treatment coordination. Each practice has verified Invisalign provision; the discussion explains why its approach is relevant to an adult planning the commitment. The clinical assessment still determines the scope and expected duration. A package name or provider badge cannot answer those questions on its own.
Top 7 London Cosmetic Dentistry Clinics for Invisalign Consultations
1. MaryleboneSmileClinic
Invisalign is part of the cosmetic dentistry available in London at MaryleboneSmileClinic, with a consultation that covers goals, examination of the teeth and jaws, and photographs or radiographs as needed. The practice describes an individual treatment programme and includes retainers and whitening within its stated package. That makes it relevant to readers who want to understand alignment as a complete sequence rather than a box of trays.
Start by separating your alignment goal from any other appearance preferences. Moving teeth may address crowding or spacing, but it does not itself change the colour of a tooth or replace a missing edge. Explain all your concerns so that the team can discuss what belongs in the aligner plan and what would be considered separately.
Before agreeing to proceed, establish the review arrangements and the retention plan for your case. A package can provide useful components, but the instructions for using them and the clinical reasons behind them still need to be clear.
2. Sensu
Sensu's Invisalign pathway includes an assessment of teeth and gums, scanning and any necessary radiographs. It describes monitoring movement and providing retainers, with whitening and contouring among possible finishing elements. The practice has London locations in Wimpole Street and London Bridge.
The useful point to explore is how active alignment connects with the end of treatment. When will the result be assessed? What happens if additional movement is proposed? How would a finishing procedure affect the timing of the retainers? These are linked decisions, and you should understand their order.
Choose the location with the treatment commitment in mind as well as the first appointment. Confirm where your reviews would take place and how to contact the team if a tray is lost or stops fitting as expected. A convenient consultation matters less if the continuing visit pattern is difficult to manage.
3. EGO Dental Clinic
EGO Dental Clinic in Westminster uses iTero scanning and ClinCheck planning for Invisalign, with progress reviews and retention described in its pathway. It also distinguishes an introductory consultation from the fuller dental assessment needed before treatment.
That makes it a useful practice for clarifying the decision point. A preliminary discussion can help you learn whether aligners are worth investigating; the examination establishes the clinical information needed for a personal plan. Find out which appointment you are arranging and what you will receive from it.
When reviewing the digital proposal, ask the clinician to explain the intended movements and anything else the plan requires. A simulation is easier to interpret when the practical steps are described alongside it. You should understand the proposed treatment, its alternatives and the arrangements for checking progress before the first aligners are ordered.
4. UltraSmile
UltraSmile in Limehouse offers Invisalign pathways from limited to comprehensive treatment and describes one dentist or orthodontist overseeing the course. It combines orthodontic, general and cosmetic dental services within the practice.
The treatment label is a starting point for questions, not a diagnosis. A limited plan may sound appealing because it appears simpler, but the relevant issue is whether it can achieve the movement needed in your case. Ask why a particular scope is being proposed and what would remain unchanged at its end.
Continuity of oversight is also worth making practical. Establish who will review the fit of the aligners, who explains changes to the plan and how concerns between appointments are handled. This gives the idea of an overseeing clinician a meaning you can use throughout treatment, rather than leaving it as an introductory assurance.
5. Orthosmile
Orthosmile provides adult Invisalign at its London locations, using a three dimensional scan for individual planning. It supplies several aligner sets at a time, with changes made at home according to the prescribed sequence. That arrangement highlights an important part of aligner treatment: receiving the trays does not mean you should decide their timing yourself.
At consultation, discuss how the home sequence is supervised and when you should seek advice before moving on. You should also know what to do if an aligner is damaged or misplaced. Clear instructions help turn the planned sequence into a manageable routine.
Consider where the appointments would fit into an ordinary working month. Orthosmile has locations in Kensington, Earl's Court and Hounslow, but confirm where your particular care would be delivered. The most useful location is one you can continue attending for review, not simply the nearest place for an initial scan.
6. Clocktower Dental Surgery
Clocktower Dental Surgery in Harlesden uses an iTero scan and a custom digital plan for Invisalign. Its treatment information also refers to removable retainers and whitening within an advertised package. It is relevant for readers who want alignment care in this part of London and need to understand the full proposal before comparing it with alternatives.
Break the package into its functions. The aligners perform the planned movement. Retainers are intended to maintain the position afterwards. Whitening concerns the colour of natural teeth. Each element needs its own instructions, and the suitability of one does not automatically settle the others.
Ask the practice to confirm the scope in writing, including the reviews, the retention arrangements and what happens if the course needs to be adjusted. This is particularly useful when comparing offers whose headline descriptions sound similar but whose ongoing care may be organised differently.
7. Harley Street Dental Clinic
Harley Street Dental Clinic offers Invisalign within coordinated orthodontic, cosmetic and restorative care. Its treatment planning can sequence alignment before cosmetic restorations, with digital records used in the wider process.
That is relevant if your final goal includes more than straighter teeth. An existing restoration, a worn edge or a planned replacement may need to be considered alongside movement. Discuss which appearance decisions can be made now and which should wait until the alignment result is assessed.
Also ask who will keep the complete plan connected. The end of active orthodontics may be the beginning of another stage, but it still needs a retention strategy. A useful proposal explains how the position of the teeth will be maintained while any agreed finishing care takes place. The stages should join up clinically as well as look coherent on a written estimate.
Thinking Beyond the First Set of Aligners
Before beginning, consider a normal day rather than an unusually organised one. You will need to follow the wear schedule prescribed by the clinician, remove and care for the trays as instructed, and fit the routine around meals and cleaning. Discuss any predictable difficulty early. The plan should be realistic enough to follow consistently.
Next, make sure you know the review process. Ask what will be checked, how often you are expected to attend and how to contact the practice between visits. If an aligner does not fit as expected, seek the team's advice rather than changing the sequence on your own. The clinical plan and the day-to-day experience need to stay connected.
Retention deserves a place in the first conversation, even though it comes later. British Orthodontic Society guidance emphasises that teeth can move again and that long-term retention is important. Ask which retainers are proposed, how they should be worn or cleaned, and what arrangements apply if they need repair or replacement.
Finally, keep the finish line specific. Is the aim alignment alone, or is another procedure being considered afterwards? A useful consultation makes that distinction clear and explains how the result will be reviewed. You should know what the treatment is intended to achieve, what your part involves and how the practice will support the result beyond the final active aligner.
