Numbers-wise, it’s not the champ. On Qi2, a single cycle brought me the usual “20% to high-60s or low-70s in about two hours” before the pack ran out of juice. Over USB-C, it functioned just like any other good 20W mini pack. But usability is where it sprinted away with the test: Fit right in the ol’ jeans all day without a bulge, snag or a clue there was something even on my body. If you require real speed, or if you need to get back up and running quickly (from barely any power to 80% is about one hour), bring a 10,000mAh+ pack as well as a short USB-C cable. You will see more usable watt-hours and way better time-to-charge.
If your days are a blur of maps, pix, messages and you hate having to carry any more bulk than strictly necessary, the 5,000mAh Qi2 pack is the sweet spot; something like Baseus PicoGo AM31. All that to say, look for Qi2 certification from the Wireless Power Consortium, strong magnets, good thermal management and a backup USB-C port. Count on around 60–70% of the sticker’s rated capacity making its way to the phone wirelessly, and transact smaller top-ups if you want to keep heat under control.
As someone who has lived with a suitcase of batteries, my takeaway is that the best Qi2 power bank is one you will actually carry. For the Pixel 10, only one survived — and it did so by disappearing into my pocket.
