Intelligence briefing: What happened to flight 800?
Human Events, 1998
In July, the FBI ended its criminal probe into the crash of TWA Flight 800, which exploded in the air one year earlier, in July 1996, carrying 230 people to their death. Investigators say an explosion in the plane's center fuel tank caused the crash, but they say they don't know what caused the explosion.
Never mind that Pierre Salinger, one of the great investigative journalists of all time, produced evidence that the plane was brought down by a missile. And what's happened to the statements of two helicopter pilots, eyewitnesses to the explosion and crash? They were the first to arrive on the scene, and both witnessed a streak of light headed toward the plane, followed by a horrible fireball. Why were these pilots told not to discuss what they saw with anyone?
I've put all the information I've gathered together in one special bulletin called INTELLIGENCE BRIEFING: What Happened To Flight 800? In it, I debunk some of the theories that have circulated, while raising serious questions about why key evidence has been overlooked, why Pierre Salinger now being ridiculed, after 20 years of top-notch investigative journalism...and who would want to hide their participation in the explosion...see page 8 for details on how to get your copy of this exclusive briefing, FREE with your trial subscription to Strategic Weekly Briefings.
