leaves under glass

Southern Living,  Oct 2006  by Henderson, Alan

Celebrate the season with this quick elegant project. To assemble, just take two clear plates. (We found these for less than $5 apiece at a local variety store.) Cut out an appropriate-size circle of thick colored paper, and stick it to the front of one of the plates with double-sided tape. Arrange bright leaves from your yard on the paper; then stack the second plate on top.

Secure a plate hanger. (You may have to use pliers to bend the hooks to fit around both plates.) Hang your creation whereever you'd like to enjoy a brilliant touch of automn in your home.
