Corona Light sponsors 14th EVP Pro Am vollleyball tour

Corona Light has announced it will sponsor the 14th annual EVP Pro Am Beach Volleyball Tour. Barton Beers said it will utilize local television and print media buys while incorporating grassroots event marketing to "spike" its "moving at the speed of Corona Light" advertising efforts. The Corona Light EVP Pro Am Beach Volleyball Tour will visit locations nationwide over the course of the summer. The first tour stop will be Huntington Beach, Calif., on June 4, and world finals will be held in Honolulu on November 5. All together, there will be 13 events.

"The EVP tour has the same fun, laid-back, beach lifestyle image that resonates with our Corona Light consumers," said Kevin Kramnic, Director of Marketing for the Modelo Brands. "Nothing says summer sports like beach volleyball and nothing says summer refreshment like an ice cold Corona Light."

Continuing with the volleyball summer theme, Corona Light will also be participating in the EVP volleyball "City-vs-City" Series and Regional Amateur Tournaments as part on the 2005 Corona Light Volleyball sponsorship.
