PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Approximately 2,400 chain drug executives and their supplier partners will converge on The Breakers Hotel and Beach Club April 29 through May 3 for the industry's Annual Meeting, hosted by the National Association of Chain Drug Stores. The event is the premier meeting for top executives from drug, food and mass merchandising companies to discuss, debate and learn about the industry with the goal of improving business for all members.
The meeting features at least five hours of informal appointment time each day, with scheduled business sessions Sunday, Monday and Wednesday mornings, a welcome reception for first-time attendees on Sunday night, recreational events Tuesday morning, the "Festival of Foods and Music" that evening and the spouse/companion NACDS Grand Luncheon Monday afternoon.
Business conference tents, cabanas, meeting rooms and suites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, though appointments must not conflict with official NACDS business sessions. Supplier members with questions about this year's events should telephone the associate member programs department at NACDS.
The association also is handling accommodation requests for The Breakers and participating hotels in the Palm Beach area, on a first-come, first-served basis.
