Missile Lube 5 EH US is a hybrid water-soluble concentrate that combines vegetable oil, synthetic oil and mineral oil for what is said to be a superior lubricity. This coolant concentrate is designed to serve many applications and material types. The primary applications are boring, reaming and deep-hole drilling of aluminum alloys or using a required chlorine-free product. Because of the lubricity, according to the company, the coolant can be used at lower concentrations than conventional oil-based coolants. According to the company, some companies can switch from using straight cutting oils while still achieving the required surface finishes.
