Family - Sierra club Family Trips

Sierra,  Jan, 2000

Tags: leader, Leadership, Raft, River, Sierra Club

Teach your children the fun of outdoor living in some of North America's most enchanting wilderness areas. Sierra Club Family Trips create a cooperative atmosphere where everyone shares camp chores, outdoor skills, and knowledge about plants, animals, and ecology. On some trips, you drive to your campsite or lodge; on some, pack animals transport food and equipment from trailhead to camp; and on others, there is backpacking or rafting adventure.

KEEP IN MIND:

Difficulty levels and age vary. We welcome single parents, grandparents, and aunts and uncles in addition to two-parent families. Trip deposits are per person, not per family. Child prices apply to ages 16 and under. All adults (18 and over) must be Sierra Club members.
