PSA Journal, June, 2002 by Mary K. Hall
The New England Camera Club Council, a PSA member organization, would like to extend an invitation to join us, July 12-14 for our 57th conference, held on the University of Massachusetts campus in Amherst, MA.
You will have the choice of over 30 programs, hands-on workshops, and models to photograph.
Our featured speaker this year will be Peter R. Van Rhijn, from Ontario, Canada with his program "Blue Sapphire." Peter is a renowned nature photographer using large format slides. Original, composed music is used to complement the slides. This will be our Saturday evening spectacular presented in the Fine Arts Theater.
We have Andre Gallant returning again this year to present "Slide Montages" and Keith Vaughan, FPSA presenting his program "Photographic Impressionism." Coming to us from Maine is Robert Gorrill, APSA with his program "Available Light and Photography at Night." From Chicago will be Richard Frieders, FPSA presenting "Digital Camera and Accessories."
We have five showcase programs covering a wide range of subjects, Ray Guillette will present "Jean Burke's World." The late Jean Burke, APSA, was a respected and beloved New England Photographer whose love of adventure and people, especially children, endeared her to audiences throughout New England and PSA.
