Is there a stereo club near you?

The following is a list of Stereo Camera Clubs that support this column. We appreciate their support, but we also want to encourage the exchange of product information, photo tips, ideas for workshops and programs, and if you are in the area visit one of their club meetings. Guests are always welcome. The camaraderie will expand your horizons.

Detroit Stereographic Society, website: http://www.home.comcast.net/~dssweb/ The meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, September-June, at the Livonia Senior Citizens Activity Center at Farmington Road and Five Mile in Livonia, Michigan from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Dennis Green, DennisGreen@comcast.net is the editor of The Stereo Window.

Chicago Stereo Camera Club, website: geocities.com/ stereophotography, webmaster: Gene Mitofsky, emitofsky@comcast. net meets at 7:00 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month. Go to the club's website, or contact the Presidents, Pat and Russ Gager pgager@access-4-free.com for the current meeting location. Donald Smith, FPSA, is the editor of The Stereo Flash.

The Stereo Division of the Oakland Camera Club, http:// www.3dculture.com/occ meets on the first Tuesday of every month except December. The meetings are held at the Salem Lutheran Home, 2361 East 29th Street, Oakland, California at 7:30 p.m. Dial 001 on the number pad at the gate and tell them you are with the OCC. There is ample parking in a lot below the main building. Take the first right turn after you enter the gate. Jim Gasperini and Barrie Bieler, FPSA, co-editors of the Panoram newsletter.

Celebrating their 50th anniversary the Stereo Club of Southern California, website: http://www.la3dclub.org with webmaster: Steve Berezin http:// www.berezin.com/3d/canontwin. htm. The club meets at 7:30 p.m. the third Thursday of every month in the downstairs auditorium of the United Wilshire Methodist Church at 4350 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90010. Entrance is on Plymouth Blvd. Ray Zone is the editor of the 3D News. The 3D News staff consists of David Kuntz and Lawrence Kaufman. Kathy Day and David Kuntz take care of the labels and subscriptions.

The San Diego Stereo Camera Club, website: http://www.sdscc.us meets January--October on the fourth Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. The meetings are held in the Photo Arts Building near Park Blvd. and Village Place in Balboa Park (the small building at the entrance to the big parking lot with the Carousel/Merry-Go-Round at the back of the lot). They share the building with other planar camera clubs, a darkroom club and a digital club. Ken Wright, kwright@nassco. com is the editor of the Fusion newsletter.

The Cascade Stereoscopic Club, http://www.cascade.org/ meets the second Saturday of every month, 9:00 a.m, at the 3D Center of Art and Photography, 1928 N.W. The Ohio Stereo Photographic Society, http://www.osps.home.att.net meets the first Tuesday of every month from September-June at 7:30-9:30 p.m. The meetings are held at the AAA Headquarters on Route 21 (5700 Brecksville Road, Independence, Ohio 44131) close to the intersection of 77 and 480 (Rockside exit off 77).
