PSA Journal,  Dec, 2005  by Kristina Erin Kaye

This year the Color Slide Division (CSD) took a giant step forward by allowing digital images into our competitions. This motion was passed with an overwhelming majority and then also passed the Exhibitions Standards committee of PSA. We now allow digital images into our competitions. There will be some refining of the rules as items pop up, but as long as an image can be projected by either a standard slide projector or a digital projector, it is eligible in any Color Slide Division activity. The only requirement that we have at this point is that you cannot mix standard slides and digital slides in any entry. In other words if you normally enter 6 slides in one of our competitions, they all have to be digital or standard ... 6 traditional or 6 digital. More to come in future articles.
