Slide evaluation service available

The Color Slide Division (CSD) provides a slide evaluation service for Photographic Society of America (PSA) members. Each individual member can send up to twenty slides to the Directors of the Slide Evaluation Service in a submission. There is a $3 lee (plus sufficient return postage) for a year for the evaluation of 20 slides. Sometimes the Directors receive two or three submissions from one person in a year.

The Directors provide suggestions for improving each slide based on technique, composition, impact, and originality. Comments may cover different mounting methods or retouching parts of an image. The constructive comments and suggestions are provided as a written critique and may review whether the image should be submitted to a PSA-recognized International Exhibition.
