6th Annual Lotus Photo Contest - International News Notes - Brief Article

The 6th Annual Lotus Photo Contest was organized by four separate photographic societies. These include the Photographic Society of Los Angeles, Koran Professional Photography Association, American-Taiwan Photographic Society and the Vietnamese Artistic Photography Association.

With the support of Bao Quang Temple, the event was a success. The Lotus Festival is held in Echo Park in the city of Los Angeles to commemorate the Lotus Flower as it blossoms each September. This large celebration takes place in the surrounding communities, where people of all racial backgrounds come together to view and celebrate this wonderful event.
