The attraction here is John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson reunited onscreen for the first time since 1994's Pulp Fiction. But without Quentin Tarantino's wild pop-philosophical antics, it's unlikely the duo will succeed in recreating their former magic, especially in a thriller about a reckless DEA agent (Travolta) investigating the disappearance of an elite commando unit (led by Jackson). Expect plenty of combat and courtroom action and a few surprises, but groundbreaking cinema is unlikely.
