Twenty-nine-year-old Galen Gering seems to view life as one big gag. For starters, this L.A. native and fellow sudser Jenna Hudlett were just married by an Elvis impersonator. His sense of humor must come in handy in preparing for his role on Passions. As the passionate Luis Lopez Fitzgerald, he constantly has to rescue his unrequited love--who happens to be a member of the dynasty that killed his father--from a bumbling French drug cartel.
"She can identify them," he explains. "They blew up this guy she used to go out with." Now that Gering's just been named one of People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People in the World," his career is blowing up, too, so he'd like to take this opportunity to ask NBC for some time off. "Can I just go into a coma or something? Bring in the evil twin!" he pleads. "C'mon guys, help me out here!"
