Shemar Moore

Interview,  Sept, 2000  by Gregg Goldstein

The Young & the Restless' Shemar Moore, thirty, won a Daytime Emmy this year for playing Malcolm Winters, and it's not hard to see why. "On the show, slept with my brother's wife, she had a baby, and nobody knows who the father is," Shemar explains. "Currently, I'm divorced, and my brother's divorced from the one I slept with.

Now I'm sleeping with her again, and my ex-wife has hot feelings for my brother, but he wants to get back with his ex-wife." Between keeping track of this plotline, his five-day-a-week boxing workout; hosting Soul Train; acting in the upcoming comedy Brothaz and in the Fox TV pilot, Celebrity, Shemar has no time for a relationship. "Women in L.A. are high maintenance," he says.
