Austin Peck - Interview

"There's Sammy, who's Carrie's half-sister, and there's Lucas, who's Austin's half-brother," explains Days of Our Lives' Austin Peck (twenty-nine years old, newly married, no outside projects), describing the five-year onscreen life of his alter ego, Austin Reed. "Sammy wants me, Lucas wants Carrie, and they're in cahoots with each other to get us apart.

Sammy drugs and slips into bed with Austin, who wakes up and freaks out: 'Whoa, this is not Carrie.' She runs away, then shows up at Carrie and Austin's wedding pregnant. Austin and Carrie break up, then a couple of years later a blood test reveals it's Lucas's baby. So Carrie and Austin can get married, and they ride off together on a white horse into the sunset. Literally."
