Interview,  March, 2000  by Ray Rogers

Standing on the

Shoulder of Giants (Epic)

The monsters of modern rock have gone psychedelic on us--with trancey electronic loops, take-you-higher background choruses, even a five-minute-plus swirl of backwards masked guitar and sitar called "Who Feels Love?" While there are a few manic bursts of squealing guitars, the album is mostly meditative, meandering and oomph-free. Rock's most boisterous, badass brothers, Liam and Noel Gallagher, have apparently sworn off the drink; have they been hitting the sedatives?
