Is charitable giving down or up? - Trends - Brief Article

A recent survey conducted by Independent Sector reveals that 73 percent of Americans who contributed financially to the September 11 relief efforts will continue to give as much or more to local nonprofits. The survey determined the greatest possible obstacle to charitable giving to nonprofits in current times will be the lagging economy not the actual terrorist attacks.
