This is a collection of 15 Canadian folk songs delivered in a direct, and simple style by vet Canadian folk singers Jon Bartlett and Rika Ruebsaat. Originally recorded in 1979, they've remixed and added two new recordings for the update.

The songs are the stars here, and the repertoire runs from ancient French Canadian songs to contemporary songs that sound old.
