Card interface offers four PC card sockets

The PCD-VI-422 ISAbus card drive from Premier Electronics is said to provide the user with the versatility of four PC card sockets. The high- speed read write facility offers two ports at the rear of the machine and two at the front. All four ports work independently and can run all technologies.

Full card and socket services software provides support for SRAM, flash, ATA and I/O cards, and offers the options of FFS2 or FTL.

The four-slot card drive complies with PC card release 2.1 and up, as well as JEIDA 4.1 standards. The range provides users wanting to upgrade the benefit of being able to add Type I, II and II PC card drives.

The drives support all major operating systems: Windows 3.1X, Windows 95, Windows NT 3.5X and 4.0, DOS and OS/2 Warp 3.0 and 4.0, as well as supporting both synchronous and asynchronous PC cards
