Fuel Cells Today, August 10, 2004
Intelligent Energy, Inc. recently announced it has provided two of its fuel cells for a one-year interactive exhibit at the Boston Museum of Science in support of the museum's efforts to educate the public about renewable energy.
According to the company, the exhibit, titled "From CO2 to Biohydrogen," combines a bioreactor with the fuel cell. Intelligent Energy noted that the bioreactor, which was developed by GreenFuel Technology Corporation, "uses a novel design and operating process to remove harmful emissions such as NOx and CO2 from combustion gases to generate clean raw material for production of valuable outputs such as hydrogen."
"Again and again during the recent Democratic National Convention we heard energy security, environmental protection and economic progress discussed as priorities for America," said Intelligent Energy vice president Hazen Burford. "We share those priorities, and we are working to make safe, clean, economically sound hydrogen fuel cells for applications across the U.S. and around the world."
