Ritalin scam - Letter to the Editor

Natural Health,  March, 2002  by Janet Pytynia

I laud Michael and Jill Carroll for taking their child, Kyle, off Ritalin ("Should Ritalin Be Required for Hyperactive Kids?" News & Notes, October/November 2001). Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is merely a fabricated illness so you drug your children. What Kyle's school district failed to inform his parents and what your article failed to inform the reader is that a school district is granted $400 to $1,133 by the federal government for each child on Ritalin. Reading about this makes me sick.
