310 consultants you need to know now - Cover Story
University Business, June, 2002 by Angela Chnapko
Our fourth annual Guide to Higher Education Consultants is bigger and better than ever for 2002. This year's count: 310 consultants and consulting firms across 50 different categories--the most comprehensive Listing of its kind.
The directory is not an advertorial section, it is a wholly editorial product of University Business; consultants were not charged fees to be Listed. A few caveats, however: Entries are based on data provided by the firms and have not been independently verified. Inclusion does not imply endorsement by University Business. Firms are Listed alphabetically and are indexed by category on page 62. Readers should be aware that many firms do not fit comfortably into simple categories and may offer more services than our labels may suggest. For firms with multiple offices, we have tried to give contact information of the office most concerned with higher education. The directory omits Lobbyists, most Law firms, and firms that offer consulting only in conjunction with other products or services. Please note as well that the "NA" notation in some Listings indicates that a firm chose not to disclose client information. We welcome your corrections, updates, and leads to new consultants. Please send them to consultants@universitybusiness.com.
