Prime cuts: Dublin, Oh - skateparks - Brief Article

Thrasher Magazine,  July, 2002  by Patrick O'Dell

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY; THIS IS THE WORST PARK EVER.

I mean, it's sick if you're from out of town and looking for something crazy, or if you found it on the side of the road in Nevada, but as an intentionally-built park it sucks. There are a lot of crappy parks across this great land, but if you consider all the money and space that was given, you could have at least made something decent. Every transition is kinked, the design makes no sense. The clover bowls hips are too jutted Out and the waterfall has vert. But regardless, if you use some imagination some sick skating can go down. Ask Chet Childress, I hear he back Smithed the vert wall--that doesn't sound so hard 'til you take into account the logistics. Ohio is turning into a house of horrors for concrete parks, the legendary Dodge is in a decrepit state of disrepair. But with all that said, I recommend a trip to Ohio to check this stuff out. Bad concrete parks are street skating for tranny fiends. You know what, flick it. I love this park. I'm just glad it isn't in my neighborhood.
