Genetically engineered soy a factor in soy debate? - Letters to the Editor

Townsend Letter for Doctors and Patients,  July, 2002

Editor:

Have been following the soy debate with bated breath, because like good little type A's trying to follow the gospel according to the wise D'Adamo, we are recommended to eat this stuff.

The differences in what both sides are saying is astounding, is it not? So I wonder if in reality they are studying the same thing?

Is it not possible that the evil effects are coming from the genetically-designed soy which is now fairly pervasive in the food world? Whereas in Japan they are still eating the real, the safe stuff.

If so, this should be made known, because it would be one more slap in the face of Big Brother pushing for G.E. to take over the world. And it would solve the problem of conflicting results.
