Correction Notice…

Townsend Letter for Doctors and Patients,  July, 2001

Corrections to the article in our June issue by Lily G. Casura entitled "Bee Well: Holistic Physician Ralph Golan, MD Discusses an Unusual Treatment for a Case of Inflammatory Bowel Disease" follow. We apologize for these errors.

Cover title should have read Propolis for Inflammatory Bowel Disease; the article description on page 11 should have referred to propolis, not pollen.

The second paragraph of the article should read: Dr. Golan, who has practiced holistic medicine for more than 20 years has been a member of the American Holistic Medical Association since 1980, and a founding member of its more-recently formed offshoot, the American Board of Holistic Medicine (ABHM). The ABHM has developed a board certification examination and review course -- which were first offered in December 2000 in Denver. As part of the faculty, Dr. Golan gave a presentation entitled, "The Holistic Medical Treatment for Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Peptic Ulcer."
