Disney Revisited

Girls' Life,  Feb, 2001

Sure, you love Disneyland, but that Dumbo ride doesn't hold the same magic as it did when you were 6. And it has a sparkle all its own, designed to encourage visitors to explore the wonders of California beyond the park's gates.

But with all the attractions, you may never want to leave! There are three main areas, each inspired by a different California dream. The Golden State focuses on the outdoors, featuring a whitewater rafting ride and virtual aerial tour of California's most breathtaking sites. Paradise Pier celebrates beach life and includes boardwalk rides, such as a roller coaster and ferris wheel--but with a Disney twist. And Hollywood Pictures Backlot spotlights show biz. To top it off, the Monorail runs across a small-scale replica of the Golden Gate Bridge. Wanna be first in line? The park opens on Feb 8.
