Top priorities included advanced practice initiatives, health care reform, HIV/AIDS/ tuberculosis, medical waste, and RN first assistant reimbursement. * In "Letters to the Editor," a nurse voices her concern that the ANA's statement on AIDS/HIV does not advocate mandatory HIV testing of a patient when a heath care worker has been exposed to that patient's blood or body fluids.
