The Nominating Committee is composed of five members who are elected by the House of Delegates at Congress. They work together to prepare and present an annual slate of candidates for national office.
They also act as tellers for the election at Congress. The immediate past President serves as the advisor for this committee. The chair is elected by the members of the Committee.
At the 2000 Congress, delegates will elect three new members for the Nominating Committee. Two members will continue in their two-year terms to provide continuity.
Members of the Nominating Committee will wear lavender ribbons at Congress. Candidates will wear light green ribbons at Congress.
The caption of the photograph of each Nominating Committee member identifies the person's job title and location and the year her term expires.
