DSN Retailing Today, June 10, 2002
To become more competitive in the video sell-through arena, Blockbuster Entertainment said it will match any advertised price on the VHS or DVD version of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." Blockbuster is selling the VHS for $16.99 and the DVD for $19.99, but will lower its price for anyone who presents an advertisement listing the title below its cost.
"Harry Potter" debuted May 28.
