> Chromium, Carbs, and Cholesterol: Subjects taking 600 micrograms (mcg) of chromium picolinate reported a significant decrease in their carbohydrate cravings and depression, in a study presented June 2 at a conference of the National Institute of Mental Health in Phoenix. Another study presented May 6 found that chromium picolinate combined with biotin may improve cholesterol measurements in people with type 2 diabetes.
