Dah Sing Bank has chosen a Cisco metro Ethernet solution to link its 43 branches in Hong Kong, the first of its type among banks in the territory.
Dah Sing said the deployment would pave the way for the rollout of comprehensive and analytic CRM solutions,
"Through this new platform we are able to eliminate the constraints on bandwidth and service delivery imposed by our previous network," said Thomas Ng, general manager of the bank's IT division.

While most banks usually limit CRM to users at the head office, Ng said the new deployment now supports implementation of CRM to the entire call center.
