LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 21, 2002
Nickelodeon's hit TV series "The Wild Thornberrys" will be opening in theaters this Christmas season.
In the feature film, Eliza and Darwin are on a mission to save a kidnapped cheetah cub from a gang of Poachers. On their journey they discover the Poachers are planning to kill a heard of elephants using an enormous electric fence. The Poachers are outraged that someone has been leaking information to Eliza. They threaten her sister's life unless Eliza reveals her sources to them. With Debbie's life in jeopardy, Eliza is forced to admit she has the power to communicate with animals. As a result of her confession, Eliza loses her special ability to speak with animals. Without her gift, Eliza must trust her own instincts and heart to save the elephant heard.
