DR. CHERYL EASLEY is the new dean and professor in the college of health and social welfare at the University of Alaska-Anchorage. Easley previously was a dean and professor at Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan. She earned a bachelor's degree from Columbia Union College in Maryland, and master's and doctoral degrees both from New York University.
