Emirates Airlines signs new football sponsorship deal

Emirates Airlines has signed a GBP100m sponsorship deal with English FA Premier League football club Arsenal which will see the club's new ground named the Emirates Stadium.
The airline is the current shirt sponsor of Arsenal's rival Chelsea but will become the Arsenal shirt and stadium sponsor for eight years at the start of the 2006-2007 season.
A spokesperson for the football club said that it was delighted to have Emirates as its sponsor, reported the Daily Mirror.
