Airline Industry Information,  Feb 18, 2004

AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2004 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Delta Air Lines is reportedly expanding its call transfer programme with worldwide provider of discount lodging, Hotels.com.

The call transfer programme will be extended to all of Delta Air Lines' call centres, while travellers booking their airfare at the airline's local city ticket offices will be given a toll-free referral number to book their hotel accommodations with Hotels.com.

Travellers referred to Hotels.com receive significant discounts off published rates at Hotels.com's inventory of approximately 9,000 hotels, timeshares, condos and vacation rentals in more than 435 worldwide destinations served by the airline.
