Vietnam Airlines is to borrow about USD130m from ABN AMRO Bank to finance the purchase of three Airbus aircraft.

The agreement is 85% backed by the export credit agency of France, Germany, and the UK, and will be spread over a 12-year period. However, it has yet to receive final approval from the agency.

The new aircraft are scheduled to be delivered in July and August, reported Reuters.
