The price of airline tickets in Mexico will rise commencing in July, with increases of between 2% to 3% expected.

The hikes apparently represent changes in the tariffs charged on airport services and further increases are also expected around October according to Reuters.

In other news, striking flight attendants for Mexico's largest airline, Aeromexico, ended their sixth day of protest action yesterday (7 June). The flight attendants are striking over wage issues and talks between their union and the carrier were due to recommence yesterday also.
